Biglorryblog is delighted to welcome Mac Mackay from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada--not least as he brings with him great knowledge and photographs regarding snow blowers...a topic close to many BLB readers' hearts! "Real snow blowers were invented in Quebec by a man named Sicard, " says Mac. "His vehicles were called Sicard Snowmasters and he also built the trucks to carry them, huge 4x4s with separate engines to run the blowers, they have been copied all over the world.The above black and white photo was taken 1976 and was a SMALL one.
