Joe Hupp, Biglorryblog's 'Central West NSW Australia Contributor' has switched brands for today's offering. After yesterday's Peterbilts he's jumped ship to Kenworth..and quite a beauty too. He tells me: "Hi Brian, the blue Kenworth is a 1974 long nosed W-Model owned by Paddy Ward of Orange, NSW. She is powered by one of Detroit's amazing V12 2 stroke 71 Series diesel engines! There are 2 fairly identical W-Models - one is a 1969 Seattle-built LW924 which is owned by a dear friend of mine, Murray Langford of Mount Gambier, South Australia, the other is this blue one! " Now click through here for a view of that awesome Detroit 12V71N V12 engine...

If it's like any other Detroit two-stroke it must sound pretty impressive! The 8V92 Silver Series in the Bedford TM was audible enough!
