Yes I KNEW the post on the Guy Big J would get a response from 'The Brochure King' Rich Stanier who says: "The Guy Big J6 Alan McGuiness's piece refers to is still alive and well with preservationist and enthusiast Chris Gould. It now carries the age - related registration GDN 323N. And I also agree with Alan's point on the 'J' designation - the Big J was the first new truck model launched by Guy Motors following the takeover by Jaguar in 1961. At this point, the Guy strapline was 'the truck makers in the Jaguar group', and the attached brochure scan is also keen to endorse the link! Cheers, Rich."
