Anniversary livery for Fagan and Whalley
Burnley-based haulier Fagan and Whalley has painted one of its new vehicles in a special one-off livery to mark the firm's 85th anniversary.
The 44-tonne R440 Scania 6x2 tractor unit, which entered service at the start of February, will be used on both national and international operations.
It will be driven by long-serving employee Adam Walne, who has followed in his father’s footsteps at the company by driving full weight artics.
Stephen Fagan, commercial director, says: “We wanted to keep our traditional and instantly recognisable colour scheme while offering something that would stand out, and we feel this special livery is a fitting tribute to the 85 successful years we have been in business.
"It also promotes our thinking as an innovative and market-leading operation.”
