O-licence applications and decisions of the week - 19 May 2017
We look at some of the significant O-licence applications and decisions made this week.
James Kemball has applied for 30 vehicles and 35 trailers at a new site in Quayside Road, Fawley, Southampton, which will replace its Eling Wharf, Totton, Southampton depot.
Hicks Logistics would like two vehicles and two trailers at a new site in Glaisdale Parkway, Nottingham. It would also like to remove its sites in Bretton Street, Dewsbury; Cowpen Lane, Billingham; and Chambers Lane, Grimesthorpe, Sheffield from its O-licence.
CM Downton (Haulage Contractors) has permission for a new operating centre in Swinnow Industrial Estate, Swinnow Lane, Leeds, where it can base 14 vehicles and 40 trailers.
AW Jenkinson Transport wants to upgrade its O-licence in the Welsh traffic area from standard national to standard international.
N R Evans & Son has permission for 20 vehicles and 20 trailers at Clipper’s Danes Way, Daventry Rail Freight Terminal, Crick, Northampton site.
Clancy Docwra has applied for two vehicles at a new operating centre in Blair Way, Dawdon, Seaham, County Durham.
Arla Foods may base nine vehicles and nine trailers at a new operating centre in Stephenson Road, Westbury, Wiltshire.
Goldstar Transport has had its authorisation increased to 43 vehicles and 43 trailers in Brickyard Road, Aldridge, Walsall.
