Dealer drop-in: CVAM
Commercial Vehicle Asset Management (CVAM) based in Denbigh, North Wales, counts some of the biggest transport fleets in the country among its clients.The company typically buys large batches of ex-lease trucks from big successful operators including large supermarkets and hauliers, usually in excellent condition with a full service history.
At its site when CM dropped in were a selection of vehicles including this 6x2 Scania R480 Highline with tag axle from 2013.The 13-plate vehicle has 340,000km on the clock and comes with a manual gearbox.
Also on display was a 6x2 day cab 26t Mercedes Axor with rear-lift axle and manual gearbox from 2011.The 61-plate truck has a 28ft curtainsider body and full cantilever tail lift and CVAM says it has a choice of similar vehicles in stock.
There was also a 6x2 mid-lift Mercedes Actros with MegaSpace cab from 2012. The 12-plate vehicle comes with automatic gearbox, fridge, air conditioning, twin bunk and sliding fifth wheel.The truck - one of a choice of similar vehicles CVAM has available - has clocked up 430,000km, comes with a 12 month MoT and is available for £26,950.
CVAM does not have its own parts or repair operation but is happy to direct customers to its network of subcontractor modification specialists. It also sells to transport firms in Australia, Kenya, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Trinidad and Tobago and Zambia.
