Bibby Distribution takes delivery of 17 MAN TGX tractor units

MAN has supplied 17 TGX 26.460 tractor units to Bibby Distribution in a fleet expansion and renewal programme that will see it take 70 trucks from the manufacturer between now and April.

Bibby took delivery of the 17 trucks after securing a long-term multi-million pound contract with independent sugar confectionery supplier, Tangerine.

Key account manager at the manufacturer Neil Waters secured the deal with the distribution firm, which has 450 MANs in its fleet.

Bibby head of fleet Adam Purshall said the MAN dealer network and aftersales support was second-to-none.

“A flexible deal through MAN Rental with excellent reliability, improved fuel efficiency and excellent driver acceptance makes it a natural choice for our fleet”, he said. “We always take a full repair and maintenance package from MAN, and we use the dealer network across the UK.”
