RB: What is your favourite holiday destination?
SM: The Alps and Italy driving in one of my classic cars - I own a 1972 MGB GT and a 1975 Triumph Stag. I love the freedom, scenery, food, wine, and culture as well as finding less touristy small villages.

RB: What car do you drive?
SM: An Audi A4 in addition to the MG and Triumph.

RB: What are your hobbies?
SM: Tinkering in the garage or cooking.

RB: What is your favourite TV programme?
SM: Car SOS.

RB: What celebrities would most like to meet?
SM: Jennifer Aniston, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

RB: How did you get into the industry?
SM: I was an HGV driver but wanted a career change. I got into LCV sales in 1996.

RB: How would you encourage more young people into the industry?
SM: Continue to develop apprenticeships and high quality training.

RB: What is the outlook for your sector of the market over the next 12 months?
SM: That the construction industry is still strong, showing growth, and generally truck sales reflect this. I’m confident we will continue to thrive.
