Volkswagen issues Amarok recall
A global recall has been issued by Volkswagen for models of its Amarok pick-up truck, affecting 239,000 vehicles.
A potential issue with the fuel pipes is thought to affect a small number of the recently launched pick-up truck, with all 2-litre TDI engine models built since its 2010 launch until June 2013 being recalled as a result.
Leaks to the fuel pipe, within the engine compartment, have instigated the recall, with VW said to be fitting a chafe protector at the affected points as part of the global recall. A total of 4,279 UK vehicles will be affected by the recall notice.
