Speedline Truck - a new company created within the Ronal Group
The Setting
Speedline Truck is the newest venture of RONAL, worldwide leading wheel manufacturer of cast alloy wheels. RONAL uses its exquisite expertise in Quality, Innovation & Design to invest in and to explore another segment in the wheel market, the forged truck wheel.
For some years, the demand has grown for forged truck wheels since they are lighter and less corrodible than the cast versions. RONAL, that thanks a considerable part of its success to its capability of listening and adjusting to the market, decided to respond to this evolution in market demand.
In 2007, RONAL acquired Speedline, a company highly praised for its technical excellence. Today, RONAL and Speedline team up to bring a product of the highest standards to the market of truck wheels.
The Response
RONAL founded Speedline Truck, located in Presezzo, Italy. Speedline Truck will operate as an independent business unit, forming a commercial center and distribution hub for the European market where all business areas will be integrated, from Quality, over Marketing, to Customer Service.
The main focus - in first instance - will be to develop a leading European market position, a focus that gradually will be extended to the acquisition of a leading position in other regions in the world.
The Offer
SL Truck will initially offer wheels in sizes 22.5x9.00", 22.5x11.75", ET0 and ET 120, diamond cut or mirror polished. The product range will gradually increase, all based on the demands of the end customer. Our initial products are Tüv approved and comply with the latest technical market demands. In a first phase, our products will be offered in the aftermarket and to trailer builders but we are targeting also to extend our presence to OEM trucks.
The Future
Speedline Truck aims to achieve a leading position in the industry of forged wheels for trucks, buses and trailers.
