Motus Commercials wins a pair of awards at DAF’s 2023 Dealer Conference

Motus Commercials, which is part of Motus Group (UK), has won two DAF Dealer Awards at the 2023 DAF Dealer Conference. Accolades were awarded to both its Avonmouth and Halesowen branches.

The conference is billed by the truck manufacturer as an opportunity for DAF Dealers to come together and recognise the very best performers. During this year’s event, which took place in Barcelona, awards were given for customer satisfaction, growth, business performance, sales, financial services or parts, and larger awards such as the UK and International Dealer of the Year.

While Motus Commercials Halesowen was crowned UK Dealer of the Year, the South West region, comprising dealerships in Avonmouth, Gloucester, Frome, Swindon and Hereford picked up the sought after MD’s Special Recognition Award.

The UK Dealer of the Year Award was presented to the Motus Commercials Halesowen DAF team (pictured) by John McMenamin, director of dealer development at DAF Trucks UK. Meanwhile DAF Trucks UK MD Laurence Drake presented the MD’s Special Recognition Award at Motus Commercials Avonmouth, the lead dealership in the company’s South West region.

Commenting on the wins, Motus Commercials MD Matt Lawrenson, said: “It feels great to have won these fantastic awards for our South West DAF dealerships and Halesowen in the West Midlands. Recognition like this means a lot to us at Motus Commercials as it echoes the hard work that goes into delivering first-class service levels to customers day in, day out.
“A special mention also needs to go to Daniel Fitzjohn, who is regional director for not only our South West dealerships but also the West Midlands too, which encompasses Halesowen. This success is an incredible tribute to his dedication to the business.”
