L&P Motors has been appointed as the authorised Isuzu Truck repairer for Jersey. The company recently relocated to a 20,000 sq ft location to support customers with on site maintenance as well as mobile repair services. Established in 2020, L&P Motors has quickly grown and established itself as a reputable commercial vehicle service provider on the island.
Isuzu recently annouced WMS Service Centre & Commercial Vehicles is a new authorised Isuzu Truck repairer based in Guernsey.
Co-founder Leo Gomes said: “We have worked from multiple facilities over the last few years, including operating out of two separate locations simultaneously, which was why we jumped at the opportunity to move into this new, larger, site. Now, we have the perfect space to bring the team back together and support the continued growth of the business.
“As Isuzus are so well suited to the Channel Islands, thanks to their compact size and proven reliability, we were already frequently supporting customers with their vehicles across the island. Now with Isuzu’s support, and as an authorised repairer, we will be able to deliver an even better level of service.”
The refurbished facility was previously operated by Rabeys Commercial Vehicles. The site has two workshops with six bays and three heavy-duty column lifts. The L&P Motors team employs 12 staff including two apprentice mechanics. As an authorised repairer the company now has access to aftersales systems, parts and Isuzu’s technician training resources.
Tim Hicks, head of operations for Isuzu Truck (UK), said: “L&P Motors is a valued addition to our network of Authorised Repairers. They have rapidly become a well-established business on the island, with company values closely aligned with our own. The team prioritise supporting their customers, and we’re confident they can deliver the highest level of aftersales care for any Isuzu owner or operator.”
L&P Mobile Vehicle Repairs, trading as L&P Motors, was founded by Leo Gomes and Piers Little. The pair have nearly 40 years of combined industry experience.
