Marshall Fleet Solutions has appointed Les Gillies as its new operations director in a move that will see him take charge of the firm’s transport refrigeration, tail lift and fleet management services.
He will work alongside the Cambridge-based Marshall Fleet Solutions’ sales director Michael Kane and MD Mark Howell.
Gillies has 30 years of experience working within the temperature controlled industries, including senior job roles for large-scale, multi-sited, blue-chip companies including May Park, Tulip, Grampian and Gist.
Commenting on his new role at Marshall Fleet Solutions, Gillies said: “This is an exciting challenge for myself as I will be able to drive the nationwide MFS operational team forward by looking at our business activity through an operator’s eyes.
“This will enable me to fully understand our customers’ expectations and to provide MFS with the operational experience that will move the business forward”.
