The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) will be rolling into this summer’s bumper tradeshow, Road Transport Expo (RTX), from 28-30 June at NAEC Stoneleigh.

MRC is an agency that represents stakeholders in the Malaysian rubber industry and aims to raise awareness of the different companies and product expertise in the sector to world markets.

Malaysian rubber companies provide a wide range of products from tyres and truck bumpers, through to essential vehicle components such as hoses, gaskets, seals, tubing and belts.

These can be supplied directly to OEMs or for aftermarket use for repair and maintenance.

MRC operates a London-based office, which plays an important role to facilitate exports of Malaysian rubber products into Europe by monitoring developments and changes in policies and new regulations concerning the importation and use of rubber products.

“At this year’s RTX, we’re looking for potential buyers interested in precured treads, retreading materials and related rubber automotive components,” a company spokesman said.

“Come join us at our booth and we will help connect you to reliable Malaysian suppliers.”

RTX is a free-to-attend, three-day tradeshow with an ‘all about the truck’ focus. It will bring together more than 200 exhibitors alongside a topical conference programme to make it an unmissable event for anyone in the business of operating a fleet of HGVs.
