VBG will be showing its technical expertise at this month’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) and will be bringing along its technical team from Sweden to meet show visitors.

Advanced coupling technology today is ever-more complex, so anything to help drivers is a welcome addition to any fleet.

VBG’s new electrical architecture, coupled to its innovative Driver Assist product, does exactly this job.

Driver Assist is an innovative system that can alert drivers when reversing, via audio systems in the cab, that warn if the rig is in danger of jack-knifing.

It can also provide drivers with coupling guidance: the system’s radar sensors detect the position of the drawbar and guide the driver for quick and secure coupling, with the driver not even needing to leave the truck cab.

Visitors to VBG’s stand can also see displays covering the manufacturer’s latest Gen 3 Coupling system, its R58.03 Underrun systems and Onspot – a technology designed for icy and slippery road conditions.

The team will be happy answer any infield technical questions as well as being able to offer advice and support across the entire VBG range.

Why not make a time to head over to stand B26 during your time at RTX? This exciting tradeshow, which takes place from 28-30 June at NAEC Stoneleigh, is completely free to attend, simply book your ticket today!
