An exciting line-up of speakers has now been confirmed for the Scottish Clean Air Roadshow on 2 April, run by CM sister titles Transport News and Motor Transport.
They will be heading to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh to bring you the latest clean air regulatory updates and sharing peer-to-peer experience of using alternative fuels on commercial vehicle fleets.
The opening session is your chance to hear directly from senior policy-makers on air quality strategy across Scotland’s four largest cities: Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Scottish transport secretary Michael Matheson MSP will deliver a powerful keynote speech, followed by City of Edinburgh convener Lesley McInnes explaining local low-emission zone rollout and Transport Scotland’s head of air quality Dr Stephen Thomson
Delegates will then head into three workshop groups to hear from fellow operators and technology experts about the latest generation of clean HGVs and vans already in use on Scotland’s roads.
Renault Trucks’ head of LCV UK & Ireland Grahame Neagus will help spark your interest in electric commercial vehicle options on the market and under development.
While prominent Scottish family haulier Malcom Group will be taking part to share its experience in trialling dedicated natural gas trucks, with fleet engineer Gavin Summers, CEO Andrew Malcolm and Kenny Scott from gas firm BOC on hand to answer your questions.
In addition, visitors will also be able to explore an exciting exhibition of the latest vehicles, technology and services to keep fleets compliant in urban areas.
