Transport compliance specialist Novadata has revised its LGV50 vehicle check and defect report book.

In the event of an inspection by the police, DVSA or a traffic commissioner (TC), the book helps operators provide evidence of the required checks and records. It takes drivers clearly through each stage of the daily walk-around check with a tick list and can create duplicate copies of each day’s check.

Novadata MD Su Winch said: “Thousands of drivers across the UK rely on Novadata vehicle check and defect report books to help them conduct daily walkaround checks correctly so we update them from time to time to reflect improvements in industry best practice.

“We are helping drivers to comply with the new DVSA guide to roadworthiness with this new version, but we’ve also gone a stage further, including elements which are required by FORS for members of its scheme.”
