O-licence applications and decisions of the week - 13 April 2017

CM looks at some of the O-licence applications and decisions made this week.

Applications

ARR Craib would like to replace its site at Tofthills Way, Midmill Business Park, Kintore, Inverurie with a new operating centre in Windmill Street, Peterhead, where it will base six vehicles and eight trailers.

N R Evans & Son has applied to base 20 vehicles and 20 trailers at Clipper Logistics’ site in Danes Way, Crick, Northampton; and 30 vehicles and 30 trailers in Mona Industrial Estate, Mona, Anglesey.

DFS Trading wants permission for a new operating centre in Blackmarsh Road, Mochdre, Colwyn Bay, where it wants to base three vehicles.

Tuners (Soham) would like 10 vehicles and 10 trailers at Tarmac’s site in The Shore, Northfleet, Gravesend.

Decisions

FedEx UK has had its authorisation at its Riverside Way Industrial Estate, Cambridge Road, Harlow depot increased to seven vehicles and three trailers.

Chris Kirk Haulage has had its O-licence upgraded from standard national to standard international.

Wincanton may base two vehicles in Penistone Road, Sheffield.

A W Jenkinson Transport has had its authorisation increased to 50 vehicles and 50 trailers at Eddie Stobart’s site in Bonham Drive, Eurolink Business Park, Sittingbourne.
