O-licence applications and decisions of the week - 24 February 2017

Commercialmotor.com looks at some of the major O-licence applications and decisions that were made this week.

Applications

Matthew Clark Wholesale would like to base eight vehicles at a new depot in Castle Huntly Road, Longforgan, Dundee.

XPO Supply Chain wants to increase its authorisation at Kingspan Insulation’s site in Sherburn Enterprise Park, Enterprise Way, Sherburn-in-Elmet, to 25 vehicles and 40 trailers.

Travis Perkins Trading Company has applied for a new site in Western Approach Trade Park, South Shields, where it would like to base four vehicles.

Simon Gibson Transport is seeking permission for 12 vehicles and 12 trailers at its site in Breakwater Road, Plymstock, Plymouth.

 

Decisions

Muller UK & Ireland Group has had its authorisation at its Minto Avenue, Altens Industrial Estate, Aberdeen site, reduced to 35 vehicles and 12 trailers.

Moran Logistics can base 140 vehicles and 170 trailers at Logistics Way, Stourton, Leeds; and 120 vehicles and 140 trailers at East Midland Distribution Centre, Arundel Avenue, Castle Donington.

L Lynch (Plant Hire & Haulage) can increase its fleet to 90 vehicles and 12 trailers at its Parr Road, Stanmore, north west London site.

Armet Logistics has permission for 10 vehicles and 10 trailers at Long Lane, Great Heck, Goole.

H W Coates has had its authorisation increased to 24 vehicles and 22 trailers at its operating centre in Fordham Road, Newmarket.

As well as applying for a new site in South Shields, Travis Perkins Trading Company has been given the green light for eight vehicles at an operating centre in Buckingham Avenue, Slough; and three vehicles in Easthampstead Road, Bracknell
