O-licence applications and decisions of the week - 7 April 2017

Commercialmotor.com looks at some of the O-licence applications and decisions made this week.

Applications
Tradeteam would like permission for 30 vehicles and 60 trailers at a site in Mossbell Road, Bellshill Industrial Estate, Bellshill.

Mark Thompson Transport may base 10 vehicles at a new operating centre in Carr Hill, Doncaster. It has removed its Thornton Road, Bradford site from its O-licence.

Cadzow Heavy Haulage wants to increase its authorisation at its Forrest Street, Blantyre, Glasgow operating centre to 20 vehicles and 30 trailers.

Biffa Waste Services would like to increase its fleet to 18 vehicles and one trailer at Chapel Pond Hill, Bury St Edmunds.

Decisions

WS Transportation has been given the green light for 28 vehicles and 28 trailers at Eddie Stobart’s Daventry Rail Freight Terminal, Crick Road, Kilsby, Rugby site; and 75 vehicles and 115 trailers at Severfield Watson’s Dalton Airefield, Dalton, Thirsk operating centre.

Fagan & Whalley has had its authorisation increased to six vehicles and 10 trailers from a site in Pontyfelin Works, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran.
