After opening in mid-2024, the DAF dealer HTC is now fully operational at its Greenford, West London location. The dealership’s service and parts offerings are now live and available to truck operators. The new site is the result of a £2.7m project to relocate from a previous base in Park Royal which was three times smaller.

The Greenford dealership features a new 18-bay workshop with ATF bays, two lift-bed brake testers and a tachograph centre. Alongside new offices, the site is positioned half a mile from the A40, accessible from the closest M40 and M25 motorways. HTC Group also operates nine other locations around London and the home counties.

Aftersales manager, David Codd, said: "We’ve not only built a state-of-the-art facility for customers, but also created an outstanding working environment for our team. Since opening last year, operators have responded enthusiastically to the new location, and we are now in full swing.

"Our new Greenford location, strategically located near key transport links, represents a significant investment in providing a seamless, one-stop-shop experience for our operators. With a fantastic new workshop, approved tachograph centre, ATF specification inspection bays, a dedicated vehicle wash pit / steam clean area and a fully optimised parts department, we have designed this site to maximise vehicle uptime and efficiency.

“By working closely with the DAF optimisation team, we have ensured that our parts operation is streamlined to support faster servicing and repairs. Our fresh, modern reception and waiting areas reflect our commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience."

To support customers in their transition to electric trucks, Greenford is receiving charging infrastructure and nine IMI Level-3 trained DAF technicians are trained to work on electric trucks. Four extra truck technician roles have been created in the move to the new site and more job opportunities are expected to be available elsewhere in the company.

DAF will be exhibiting at Road Transport Expo 2025, which takes place at NAEC Stoneleigh between 24-26 June. It’s free to attend and registrations are now open.
