RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) will open a new ADR ATF lane at its Northampton site on the 9th June 2025. The Renault Trucks and Isuzu Truck dealer group has made significant investment in its Northampton branch to improve its facilities to effectively meet the needs of the industry. Redevelopment of the location has included a newly-built workshop, LCV service centre and office refurbishments.

Nigel Baxter, managing director of RHCV, said: “This investment is a clear commitment to Northampton and the Midlands in providing trusted and compliant services. By upgrading our facilities, we are ensuring that RHCV continues to lead the way in providing comprehensive, efficient and customer-focused vehicle support”.

James Daykin, aftersales director of RHCV, said: “This is a huge step forward for Northampton and our customers. The new ADR lane and facilities mean we can offer a more complete, efficient service to operators across the region. We’ve invested in the tools, the space, and the team to ensure we are meeting the high standards, and I am incredibly proud of what we have built here.”

The red category ADR test lane will offer DVSA accredited testing for vehicles transporting dangerous goods. Since the workshop was purpose-built, it can accommodate all sizes of commercial vehicles and assess them with appropriate diagnostic and repair tools.

RHCV’s new LCV service centre is dedicated to the lighter end of the commercial vehicle spectrum. George Richardson, group health and safety and facilities manager and his team have overseen the redevelopment of the Northampton branch.

RHCV has eight locations across the Midlands including Alfreton, its head office and depot in Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Newark, Peterborough, and Coventry. Founded in 1977, RHCV has been the Renault Truck dealer for the East Midlands since 1986. In 2020, the company expanded its reach by becoming an Isuzu Truck dealer.
