MAN Truck & Bus UK appoints new MAN TopUsed director

MAN Truck & Bus UK has appointed Torsten Schreck as the new director of MAN TopUsed, effective immediately. He succeeds Chris Sharp who is now the general manager at MAN Sales and Support at MAN Truck & Bus in Australia. 

Stefan Thyssen, managing director of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, said: “We are thrilled to have appointed Torsten into the position of director of MAN TopUsed here in the UK. With over a decade's experience of the MAN TopUsed function, together with his knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry, he will continue to prove a huge asset to the company. Torsten’s background within MAN TopUsed means he is uniquely qualified to take on this responsibility and we all wish him well in his new role.” 

In 2010 Schreck joined MAN Truck & Bus in Munich as a sales trainee. Since then he’s held positions as the head of strategy and business development for MAN TopUsed, head of MAN TopUsed for east Germany in Berlin and head of used truck sales in Munich. During this time he was responsible for the global development of the used truck business.
