Anthony Greatwood has been appointed director of sales and marketing at Ceramex. The diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning and remanufacturing company is targeting a major period of growth in 2024. Greatwood will be leading sales and marketing for the UK and overseas to meet demand for remanufactured truck DPFs. The Reading-based firm also plans to extend its offering to off-highway vehicles and plant, marine and rail to aid operators to satisfy emissions regulations.
Prior to his appointment at Ceramex, Greatwood worked at its sister company Eminox. Here, he held several positions over a 28-year period, most recently in the role of global product manager.
Greatwood said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Ceramex with demand for remanufactured DPFs continuing on an upward trajectory. We are also seeing new markets emerge as emissions legislation tightens in all sectors, such as the Stage V standard for off-highway machinery, which focuses on reducing emitted particulate matter from diesel-powered machinery and equipment. With market-leading and patented DPF cleaning and inspection technology, Ceramex is focused on adding value for customers across all segments and ensuring environmental performance.”
Barney Milles, managing director of Ceramex, added: “We’re very pleased to welcome Anthony to the senior Ceramex management team. With almost three-decades of industry expertise, Anthony’s insight and knowledge within this specialised field is second to none. As we continue to expand our DPF remanufacturing offering into new markets and develop our international operations, he will play a pivotal role in establishing new partnerships and increasing our brand presence.”
Ceramex processes more than 2000 DPF units on a weekly basis from its 67,000 sq ft facility. The company offers its services on a contract basis that gives operators good scales of economy and scheduled DPF cleaning to ensure emissions compliance and efficienct running. Outside of the UK Ceramex operates in Europe, North America, India and Japan.
