The second Scottish Transaid dinner will be held at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel, in Falkirk, Thursday 12 September.
Following the success of the inaugural Scottish Transaid dinner in 2022, this year’s event is set to be even bigger. Two years ago more than 200 people were in attendance to raise over £100,000 towards the organisation’s ambition to change lives with safe, available and sustainable transport.
Comedian Ray Bradshaw will be performing following a stint at Edinburgh Fringe Festival over the summer. After dinner, Peter Brown will take to the stage to keep the entertainment going and a charity auction will be hosted by John McKelvie. Auction prizes are currently being gathered in preparation for the event which include hospitality experiences and gifts. Supporters are encouraged to get in touch with prizes for the auction.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 6:30pm in time for attendees to take their seats at 7pm, are £100 per person or £1,000 for table of 10.
The Malcolm Group and the RHA are sponsoring the event and Scottish Transaid is looking for additional sponsors to support the cause. The event partner package is £10,000 and includes a table of 10, option to display a truck in front of the venue, an A4 advert in the programme, and branding on all event materials.
Other sponsorship options include displaying a vehicle in front of the venue for £2,000 or an A4 advert in the programme at £500. Sponsorship of the evening’s welcome drinks was secured by the RHA. John Mitchell Haulage and Warehousing secured sponsorship of the entertainment and programme sponsorship was secured by Marsh.
