Freight in the City has teamed up with Volvo Trucks to explore ‘The future of sustainable HGV fuels’ in an exciting new webinar event this month.

Free to attend, and chaired by CM editor Will Shiers, the webinar is open to all fleet operators and will take place via Zoom at 2pm on Wednesday 26 May.

We’ll be explaining the latest fuels and technology on the market today, and those expected in the mid-to-longer term, to help you answer key questions, such as:

  • Which route will HGV fuels take in industry’s quest to decarbonise fleet movements?
  • Is the time now right for my fleet to explore non-diesel vehicle options?
  • How do I know which fuel is right for my operation?

You’ll also hear from leading operator DHL Supply Chain about its own sustainable fuels journey, from decision-making through to practicality on the job, refuelling and maintenance.

Whilst mobility expert Swarco will be on hand to explore the UK’s current position when it comes to recharging and refuelling infrastructure.

Confirmed speakers for the webinar are John Comer, head of product management, Volvo Trucks UK and Ireland; Adrian Felton, national strategic account manager, e-Truck and e-Bus, Swarco Evolt; and Jonathan Chadburn, vice president asset management, DHL Supply Chain.

There will also be the opportunity for you to engage directly with our speakers in an interactive Q & A session.

To take part in the webinar, simply register for free at freightinthecity.com. You can also check out other Freight in the City webinar events taking place throughout the year.

If you can’t make the live event itself, don’t worry, simply register to attend and we’ll send you the recording afterwards to watch on demand.
