Mike Cutts has been named as Iveco’s new business line director full range for UK & ROI. After five years working on the Iveco light business line since joining the company in 2019, Cutts’ new role will include Iveco’s heavy vehicles: the Eurocargo, IVECO X-Way and IVECO S-Way.
A significant part of his career at Iveco involved the launch of the electric eDaily model which has since achieved a towing world record. Iveco’s strategic sponsorship of Giants Live, the qualifying competition for World's Strongest Man, created a close association with strength and durability.
Cutts also launched the Iveco Daily’s bodybuilder programme which supports customers in getting the right build for their business by partnering with more than 28 approved bodybuilders. This programme is available for 3.5- and 7.5-tonne models and the Iveco Daily driveaway specifications cut waiting times to deliver ready-bodied trucks.
With a career in automotive spanning more than 20 years, Cutts brings to the role experience from working at Pod Point, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Saab, and Vauxhall. His most recent appointment as head of homecharge, fleet and leasing at PodPoint will no doubt help to inform strategies going forward as Iveco’s product line will include more electric vehicles.
Mike Cutts, business line director full range UK & ROI, said: “I am thrilled to be working with our heavy product - as well as continue the momentum generated on light vehicles - as Iveco enters an exciting chapter of new models, impressive levels of investment, and a focus on the future. Iveco’s portfolio features some of the most capable vehicles on the market, providing operators with the perfect partner to achieve even the most demanding of missions.”
Vincenzo Nicolo, Iveco UK & Ireland’s business director said: “We welcome Mike to his new role after his achievements as light business line director. Now covering the full range, we look forward to his guidance to help our brand continue to thrive in the UK and Ireland.”
