Amanda Figg has been appointed chief technology officer for Asset Alliance Group. This leadership reshuffle is designed to manage a period of growth and innovation across the business. Figg brings with her an extensive career as a management consultant, working with companies including RBC Brewin Dolphin, Marsh, AXA UK and Hiscox.
Figg said: “Asset Alliance Group has great growth opportunities ahead and a really big appetite for innovation. I’m excited to support the company’s technology, data and change aspirations to help achieve its strategic goals.”
After implementing organisation-wide programmes in specialist insurance, banking, asset management and hedge funds, Figg will draw on this knowledge to employ technology and data solutions to improve company processes and customer outcomes. Figg’s role will also encompass supporting change at Arbuthnot Latham, Asset Alliance Group’s parent company.
Willie Paterson, chief executive at Asset Alliance Group, said: “We’re delighted to have Amanda join the team at such a crucial point in our ambitious growth strategy. We have a progressive agenda for change across the company and her vast experience will be vital in helping us to quickly drive developments forward in 2024 and beyond.”
With opportunities in mind for business insight, data and customer support initiatives, Figg will spearhead the next phase of Asset Alliance Group’s technology focused progression. This will include investment projects and integrating current systems with new technologies.
Elsewhere within the group, last month Robert Gwynn took the role of strategic development manager. Gwynn is a specialist in transport policy and public affairs.
Headquartered in Wolverhampton, Asset Alliance group has five locations across the UK. The group supports operators in acquiring commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses and coaches. With a choice of multiple truck and trailer brands, the company offers contract hire, operating lease, finance lease or hire purchase agreements to suit business needs.
