Renault T High joins Big G Logistics

Big G Logistics has taken delivery of a Renault T480 High 6x2 tractor unit. Supplied by Peter Thirkettle, sales manager at Norfolk Truck and Van, the vehicle was purchased based on its performance, fuel economy and driver appeal. Big G Logistics also praised the existing service it receives from the Renault Trucks dealer for its fleet of 10 HGVs and five vans. The company recently took delivery of a black 23-plate T High and a Renault Trucks Master RED Edition van.

The new T480 has a red interior, air suspension, leather steering wheel, extra convertible bunk with ladder, and additional cab lighting. Brigade DVS safety kit is fitted to the vehicle to protect VRUs and give the driver better indirect vision. Externally, the cab is fitted with a black stainless steel LightFix top bar, low bar and rear perimeter bars as well as Alcoa Durabrite aluminium wheels, black wheel trims, twin roof mounted air horns, fixed roof and side deflectors. 

George said: “Our fuel costs are around £25k a month, any savings we can make in this area makes a big difference to the bottom line.  We are finding the T480s to be more fuel-efficient, and together with Optifleet Check, are saving me at least £30 a night on fuel costs.
