Continental Tyres is set to showcase products from the Bandvulc and Continental ranges at the upcoming Tip-Ex 2021 show in Harrogate.

Running from 30th September to 2nd October, visitors will be able to learn more about the brands’ latest tipper truck products with the support and guidance of Continental’s commercial vehicle experts.

On display from Continental will be the 315/80R22.5 version of the new Conti CrossTrac™ HS3 and HD3 tyres, while leading tyre retreading firm, Bandvulc, will bring its 315/80R22.5 BDY3 and 385/65R22.5 BVC tyres. Representatives from Continental’s Digital Solutions team will also be on hand to educate visitors on the manufacturer’s range of digital tyre monitoring products.

Neil Davies, Regional Fleet Sales Manager at Continental, said: “Tip-Ex is a great opportunity for those reviewing their tyre policy to get up close to the Continental and Bandvulc products. We encourage visitors to speak to a member of the team and learn about the benefits our ranges can bring to a tipper and bulk haulage fleet.”

Purpose-designed for use on and off-highway, the Continental CrossTrac™ range blends durability and exceptional traction with smooth high mileage performance to create a flexible tyre that meets every challenge. An innovative tread pattern and optimised gripper edges provide grip when needed the most, while a robust casing, constructed with a premium compound, delivers exceptional wear rates and a strong base for maximum retreadability.

The Conti CrossTrac™ HS3 and HD3 tyres are ideally suited for Continental’s digital tyre-monitoring solutions – ContiPressureCheck™ and ContiConnect. Both utilise intelligent sensors housed inside the tyre to constantly measure tyre pressures, which can either be displayed within the cab or centrally accessible via a web portal. ContiPresureCheck™ and Conti Connect are designed to increase longevity, reduce breakdowns, and minimise extra costs.

Bandvulc’s BVC Gripmaster retread tyres use high-quality polymer rubber to provide outstanding cut and tear resistance in harsh driving conditions. The tread design also includes additional stone ejection features that help to mitigate the risk of punctures.  Also forming part of the Gripmaster range, the BDY3 has the grip needed to handle the toughest off-road conditions, but an advanced pattern design for optimal mileage on long-haul operations.
