2013 Scania P320 26-tonne curtainsider: Commercial Motor’s used truck of the week

Truck of the week is this 2013 Scania P320 26-tonne curtainsider based at the Middleton depot of West Pennine Trucks.

The 13-plate vehicle, which was in operation with a local distribution company and has clocked up 162,000km, comes with a full Scania service history and has been on a full R&M contract from new.

Stuart Wolstenholme, used truck sales manager at West Pennine Trucks, said: “With its rear steering/lifting axle, this highly manoeuvrable curtainsider with tuckaway tail-lift is ideal for general distribution in busy urban areas.

“The truck is in excellent condition for its age, has a powerful 320hp on tap, as well as proven Euro-5 engine technology giving excellent fuel economy and reliability. The sleeper cab is in clean and tidy condition, has plenty of storage and there is a driver-friendly Opticruise gearbox.

“The on-board driver coaching will assist the driver to achieve the best possible fuel economy and encourage an efficient driving style. It also comes with free telematics giving online reporting of fuel economy and driver performance for 10 years.”

West Pennine Trucks provides truck sales, vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair services at its dealerships in Knighton, Oswestry, Middleton (Manchester), Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Trafford Park. It provides MoTs, fabrication, tail-lift and trailer repairs, refrigeration and air conditioning servicing.

Wolstenholme added: “The truck is located in Manchester but can be supplied via any of our network of six depots, fully serviced with a driveline warranty included. Repaint facilities are also available. We can also offer service or R&M contracts for full peace of mind.”

According to Wolstenholme, the vehicle is available from £150 per week with flexible finance options through Scania Finance.
