2015 Iveco Stralis 6x2 Hi-Way tractor unit: Commercial Motor’s used truck of the week

Used truck of the week is this 2015 Iveco Stralis 6x2 Hi-Way tractor unit from its approved pre-owned programme, OK Trucks.

This 15-plate vehicle, which produces 480hp, features two bunks, a 12-speed automatic gearbox, EBS, daytime running lights, sat-nav, lift axle, fifth wheel and ample storage. The truck has clocked up 228,000km and includes full Iveco service history.

It has also had a thorough inspection covering on-board electrics, cab, bodywork, braking systems, engine, fuel systems, gearbox, clutch, cooling systems, heating and air conditioning.

OK Trucks spokeswoman Sara Parisini said: “This vehicle benefits from the best Euro-6 SCR-only technology on the market and, thanks to self-cleaning function, it avoids AdBlue crystallisation into pipes at vehicle shut-off.”

OK Trucks sells used Iveco trucks and vans usually under seven years old and with a lower-than-average mileage, which are often recently off lease or contract hire deals. All come with full-service histories. They are available at Iveco Retail, Guest Truck and Van, and North East Truck and Van, and are divided into three categories: premium, comfort and basic.

Parisini said: “This vehicle is part of the premium category; it comes with a 12-month driveline warranty in addition to the included MoT. You can reduce your total cost of ownership with this premium truck.”
