The 67-plate truck in factory-finish Titan silver metallic has been owned by Hanbury Riverside from new, has had one driver, clocked up 70,000km and includes full Volvo service history. At Hanbury Riverside, any defects are dealt with and tyres are always in above-average condition. All trucks are fully prepared to customers’ exact requirements on-site, including painting if required.
Today, the majority of the dealer’s stock - it usually has approximately 20 trucks on its forecourt - come from its own contract hire businesses. Lee Smith, director at Hanbury Riverside, said: “We bought this truck in a batch and it ran on a contract for six months carrying out container work.
“It is suitable for operators doing long-haul transport and pulling heavy weights; it has everything you want in terms of specification, as well as the remainder of the two-year warranty. We supply top-of-the-range, high-spec trucks, and with the prices of new trucks going up, this represents good value.”
Smith said the dealer also has a group of similar vehicles available with very low mileages, with prices on application.
