Family-run Utranazz, based in Buckingham, specialises in selling and hiring concrete mixer trucks. The dealer has this 2018 Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4136 8x4, which comes with a new Hydromix HM12H-E volumetric mobile concrete mixer.
Rated at 44 tonnes, the 360hp truck includes a storage bin with central divider - 45% for sand, 55% for stone - and there is also a load-sensing variable displacement hydraulic system and conveyor chain that requires no lubrication. Power is supplied to the mixer via PTO equipment.
Danny Wiseman, sales director at Utranazz, said: “With this mixer, the operator can easily change the conveyor belt system by sliding out the old unit and sliding in the new. The load-sensing variable displacement hydraulic system means that if a part is not in use it will not be pressurised, which reduces wear and means parts will last twice as long.”
The vehicle can be painted in the customer’s livery and Utranazz can provide free delivery and training within the mainland UK and carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs. According to Wiseman, the fall in the value of the pound has helped exports, and the dealer has been sending more vehicles and machines to Africa, the Caribbean, the US and other parts of Europe.
He added: “We continue to have a strong base of customers across the UK, and the Irish market has picked up again for us recently. A lot of construction work goes on in the summer, so we anticipate a very busy few months of sales.”
