
Mercedes-Benz Trucks has released a teaser image of the upcoming battery-electric eActros 600.
The long-distance electric Actros doesn’t reveal very much about the upcoming new truck that has recently finished hot weather testing in Spain.
Mercedes has now given a first taste of what the series-production truck might look like without the camouflage with a teaser of its aerodynamic design. The electric truck will have a range of 500km and is said to enable megawatt charging when it becomes available in the future.
Also revealed was a new limited-edition model of the Actros L. The Actros L Edition 3 special model is limited to 400 units and gets up to 30 additional features in the interior and exterior.
The Edition 3 truck also takes some design elements from the Edition 1 and Edition 2 and includes dashboard and door handles in nappa leather. There are also various interior parts finished with imitation carbon-fibre, and a SoloStar seat corner in almond beige leather.
The Edition 3 get distinctive badging on the passenger side and illuminated “Edition 3” entry logos on both sides.
The upper bunk is 900mm wide and comes with bespoke bedding, there’s also an all-round curtain in almond beige on the inside and black on the outside.
