UK-based Radius has reached a totoal of 200,000 active fuel cards in Belgium with more than 80,000 customers in the country.

The global mobility and connectivity firm, based in Crewe, UK is the operator of the UK Fuels network and has 1.3m active cards in 18 countries.

Of the 200,000 cards being used in Belgium, more than 10,000 are hybrid electric vehicle (EV) cards giving drivers access to 98% of Belgium’s fuelling stations as well as easing the transition to greener energy.

Transactions are managed in an online account management portal called Radius Velocity, which allows fleet managers to manage their business fuel charges easily. The portal can be used to analyse fuel purchases by driver, location, time and volume. Card users can also be put into groups for more accurate analysis.

Frederic de Broux, country director, Belgium, said: “Belgium is an excellent example of how Radius is accelerating its presence in Europe. It's great to see that our teams have been able to reach these important milestones given all the hard work they’ve put in. By continuing to develop our offering in Belgium, we are positioning ourselves as a one-stop-shop for mobility and connectivity solutions. We support our customers in their energy transition by giving them easy access to everything they need to keep their business moving forward profitably.”
