Fine Lady Bakeries has added eight Tiger Trailers double-deckers to its fleet.
The new trailers, finished in the Banbury-based baker’s signature Straw Yellow livery, boast a three-quarter-length moving deck with a 10-tonne rating. Tiger Trailers' four-ram hydraulic system ensures enhanced robustness, reliability, and increased load capacity.
Designed to transport unbranded bread in baskets, these trailers will primarily serve Fine Lady's Bakeries in Banbury and Manchester. From there, the company's diverse range of loaves, buns, and other baked goods will be distributed to supermarkets, wholesalers, and various customers.
To ensure cargo safety and minimise damage, Tiger Trailers has incorporated features such as recessed hinges, reinforced pillar lowers, and rubber cones on doors and side panels. Load securing is achieved through custom-designed nets held by vertical e-tracks. The trailers also include safety enhancements like lights, alarms, and visual warnings.
Commenting on the decision to place the order with Tiger Trailers, Adam Robson, logistics manager at Fine Lady Bakeries, said: “For the ordering of our new trailer fleet additions, we sought to identify a manufacturer that would be able to deliver on time, in full, and meet our specific operational requirements. It was clear from discussions with Tiger Trailers that they would be able to meet our timescales and custom requirements. We’re very pleased with our new double-decker trailers and look forward to fostering a strong relationship with Darren, Tom, and the team going forwards.”

Fine Lady Bakeries, a subsidiary of the Heygate Group, has a longstanding reputation for supplying bread products to major supermarkets, wholesalers, and the sandwich industry. With bakeries in Banbury and Manchester, the company continues to expand its operations.
