Active Space delivery is not small potatoes

Berwickshire-based Drysdale Freight and Roxburghshire-based Olivers Transport have each taken delivery of a pair of Iveco Stralis Active Space 440S48TX/P tractor units powered by the 480hp Cursor 13 engine.

The Ivecos will operate on a joint contract with nationwide potato supply company Greenvale AP, transporting produce to supermarket giant Tesco. All four trucks were supplied by the Blaydon North East Truck & Van dealership.

NFT increases market share with new deal

NFT has won a contract with Manor Fresh to distribute vegetables to retailer Marks & Spencer. Viridor wins appeal against licence curtailment

Taunton based Viridor Waste Management has won an appeal against the curtailment of its North-western O-licence from 30 to 25 vehicles, but faces an unannounced VOSA visit to ensure that it is continuing its improved maintenance procedures. North-western traffic commissioner Beverley Bell had decided to cut the licence because between July 14 2005 and May 8 2006 the company had received five immediate prohibitions and three variation notices.
