The administrator for Specialised Pallet Transport (SPT) has declined to say if it has had success in pursuing the firm’s debtors, despite applying for its second extension in six months for exactly this reason.

Carter Clark Financial Recovery has been struggling to chase more than £100,000 in outstanding payments due to the pre-pack haulage firm set up to take over the former business of Steve Prince Transport.

In the most recent report, Carter Clark partner Alan Clark blamed “a lack of supporting documentation” for failing to claw back money owed.

A six-month extension to the company’s administration ended in April and the courts then allowed a further extension, which came to an end last week.

However, when CM approached Carter Clark’s senior case administrator for an update, he said that he was unable to provide any information on the subject of SPT’s debtors and creditors.
