Alcoa covers up disc brakes

Another story from the Tip-Ex 2007 exhibition at last week:

One of the biggest problems for tippers on site with disc brakes is discharging loads that fall between the rear bogie, ruining the discs. Alcoa's new aluminium inner Workhorse 22.5x9.00 wheel has no holes around the rim and acts as a cover for disc brakes. The firm's Value For Life recycling programme offers £35 for every damaged, broken or replaced wheel.
