Harris Transport has taken delivery of 13 new Daf XFs from Southampton dealer Adams Morey, including a special 25th anniversary version.
The Eastleigh, Hants-based haulier, formed in June 1991, ordered the commemorative Super Space Daf XF 510 6x2 tractor unit to include air horns, lights, Dura-Bright wheels, lane departure warning, cruise control, air conditioning, sat-nav and special seats.
All the new XFs have been supplied through Paccar Financial on three-year deals with standard Daf repair and maintenance packages.
They are a mix of fleet additions and replacements. George Harris, joint MD said, “To mark our anniversary, we ordered this XF with our usual distinctive paint, air horns, lights and Dura-Bright wheels and just about everything Daf could add to it.”
According to Harris, the service provided by Adams Morey is an important factor in the company continuing to acquire Dafs. “They are just so very helpful and professional, nothing is too much trouble for them”, he added.
