ARR Craib named 2013 MSA Scottish Rally Championship title sponsor

ARR Craib is to be the title sponsor of the 2013 MSA Scottish Rally Championship.

The Aberdeen-based firm is building upon its current sponsorship of the motorsport event, which managing director Eddie Anderson said began a few years ago with a single stage at the Granite City Rally in Aberdeen.

Anderson said: “The Scottish Rally Championship is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling motorsport series in the UK.

“As a transport company we feel that we have a something of an affinity with motorsport and as a consequence we wanted to strengthen our association with the championship.”

ARR Craib operates more than 250 vehicles and 500 trailers from its sites in Cumbernauld in Scotland and Eaglescliffe in North East England. 

The Scottish Rally Championship comprises eight races across Scotland, beginning with the Snowman Rally in Inverness on 16 February.

Scottish Rally Championship chairman Dave Robson said: “We are delighted to welcome ARR Craib as title sponsor for the coming season. Transport and logistics go hand in hand with rallying and continually prove to be successful partners.”
