Trucks belonging to failed wholesaler Palmer & Harvey (P&H) will be sold off in the new year by Fleet Auction Group (FLAG) and Protruck Auction.
The wholesaler went into administration last month with the loss of 2,500 jobs. Administrator PwC, working with asset valuation company Hilco Global, has appointed FLAG and Protruck to sell the P&H fleet of 200 trucks and trailers.
“The vehicles going up for auction are a mix of 2- and 3-axle Iveco, Mercedes, DAF and Scania trucks with ambient and chilled bodies. There will be double-deck fridge trailers and 6x2 DAF tractor units,” said Charlie Wright, MD of Protruck Auctions.
The sales will take place at two auctions; the first is on 23 January 2018 at Protruck Auctions and the second on 24 January 2018 at FLAG, which won the Commercial Motor Award Auction House of the Year title.
