German tail-lift manufacturer Bär Cargolift has returned to the CV Show after an absence of eight years.

Its tail-lifts are lightweight and have the option of remote control for improved safety.

The BC 750 S2L provides 750kg lifting capacity but weighs just 160kg, making it ideal for 3.5-tonne vehicles. The FreeAccess BC 600 A2V has a capacity of up to 600kg, weighs 172kg and folds to give free access through the right rear door of the vehicle even when the platform is raised.

This, according to the manufacturer, makes it ideal for multi-drop operations involving parcels and pallets, as the lift platform can accommodate a Europallet when opened out.

Bär is also moving into the temperature-controlled market with the BC 750 A2L, a 750kg tail-lift that weighs 195kg and gives free access to the right rear door of the vehicle when folded.
