Bob Lowden named Iveco UK MD

Iveco has appointed Bob Lowden as UK MD, replacing Claudio Zanframundo.

Lowden returns to the UK after three years heading up the truck manufacturer’s business in South Africa.

He will focus on increasing Iveco’s market share and volume in the UK and Ireland. He also aims to further establish the new Iveco Daily, which recently secured the International Van of the Year 2015 title.

He said: “We will be putting renewed focus on the heavy truck sector, to take advantage of the impressive fuel returns and great customer feedback we are getting from Stralis at Euro-6.

"It is also our intention to maintain our market-leading position with Eurocargo.”

Lowden joined the truck manufacturer in a fleet development role in the UK in 1990. Before his role as MD at Iveco South Africa, he held the position of customer service director at Iveco in the UK. He also served as dealer network director in the four years prior to that.
