Favourite holiday destination and why?
Fuerteventura - lots to do for the kids.

What car do you drive?
A Jeep Cherokee.

Hobbies?
I’m a keen motorcyclist so when the weather is good I make the most of it but I also enjoy hiking with my family.

What’s your favourite TV programme?
I’m a big fan of Peaky Blinders although that has finished so I have been getting into Billions.

What celebrity would you most like to meet?
I would like to have met Muhammed Ali as he was always a hero of mine growing up.

How did you get into the industry and why?
I came into the industry 15 years ago after starting out my working life in construction. After a few years I decided it was time for a change and got offered a position as a trainee van salesman, a role in which I could use my construction knowledge while learning new skills.

How would you encourage more young people into the industry?
In an ageing roster the industry is desperate for new blood, with a vast catalogue of roles from workshop apprenticeship schemes, product design to sales and marketing careers. For anyone with a hunger to succeed, the sky is the limit.

What will be the outlook for your sector of the market over the next 12 months?
OK Trucks is having a big push on pre-owned Euro-6 product, aligning ourselves with the market for affordable low emission transport solutions in anticipation of the clean air zone projects coming to larger cities across the UK over the next couple of years.

What makes OK Trucks different from the competition?
The wider range of vehicles that we present to the buyer.
