DAF dealer Brian Currie has opened a new all-makes parts and service workshop in Daventry.
Brian Currie Daventry Truck & Trailer will be a TRP Service Plus location with a dedicated parts shop and service workshop for operators of all vehicle makes including trailers, tankers and workshop consumable items.
Located on the Drayton Fields Industrial Estate, the new operation will serve mixed-fleet operators with its TRP all-makes brand parts having previously acquired the Long March Commercials business in Daventry which had already built-up a reputation amongst local operators for its all-makes service and parts.
“Daventry has been on our wish list for some time,” said Tom Osborne, joint-MD at Brian Currie. “We already know that our mixed-fleet customers want a dedicated all-makes parts and service offering under one roof. This new TRP Service Plus facility in Daventry ticks a lot of boxes and, with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in sight, we’re looking forward to welcoming many new operators through the doors,” Osborne said.
The TRP all-makes truck and trailer parts range is available across the DAF dealer network covering 135 sites in the UK and Ireland with 20 dedicated TRP Shops. Brian Currie Daventry, however, is the first Service Plus location offering parts and workshop services across all marques of truck and trailer under the TRP brand covering more than 90,000 items.
“Having a TRP Service Plus workshop and parts shop in Daventry is going to be great for our business,” said Kevin Keenan, Arcese operations manager, “the TRP parts service from Brian Currie has to-date always been exceptional, but now, a dedicated service workshop on our doorstep is going to allow us to keep our vehicles in tip-top condition at an affordable cost. It’s all about keeping vehicles out on the road working whilst ensuring compliance.”
