Bridgestone Mobility Solutions is promising to steer commercial operators towards cost savings through its fleet support package - and is bringing its ‘lowest cost of ownership’ approach to life at Road Transport Expo 2024 (RTX).
Delegates are invited to visit the tyre manufacturer’s stand at RTX, where it said an “overarching pledge to ease the stress burden and offer cost-saving solutions” will be showcased.
With customers under a lot of pressure to reduce operating costs, Bridgestone Mobility Solutions has put together a range of products to help.
The company’s integrated tyre and fleet management solution - Bridgestone Fleetcare - will take centre stage.
Bridgestone Fleetcare offers a range of solutions for all fleet management needs: operators can benefit from premium tyres, advanced telematics, reliable vehicle servicing and more.
“With Bridgestone Fleetcare, fleet owners have an opportunity to reduce their total cost of ownership thanks to a complete package from a single mobility partner and we can’t wait to show it off at Road Transport Expo 2024,” said commercial business unit director David Almazán.
“Fleets demand maximum efficiency, convenience and sustainability as they enter the future of mobility, and our portfolio of solutions is rapidly evolving to meet these demands and create new social and customer value.”
He added: “Fleetcare provides a host of benefits to fleet customers, including total cost of ownership reduction, maximised customer satisfaction, time saving, regulatory compliance and increased sustainability, safety and security.”
Alongside a range of digital tools to help fleets decarbonise and transition to electric vehicles, Webfleet will also showcase its innovative trailer solution.
Webfleet Trailer combines safety monitoring and proactive maintenance, offering actionable insights on trailer status, TPMS integration and the Webfleet Brake Performance Report, which enables operators to monitor the status of their trailers’ brakes at all times.
“The Road Transport Expo provides a perfect platform for fleet operators to explore how Bridgestone and Webfleet can help revolutionise business performance,” added Beverley Wise, Webfleet regional director for Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.
“By integrating our advanced fleet management solutions, operators can significantly cut costs and enhance operational efficiencies.”
Bridgestone will also display its Ecopia and Duravis truck tyre ranges, which it said offer superior fuel saving and CO2 reducing performance.
Its latest range, the Ecopia ENLITEN, will also feature prominently, unlocking enhanced wear and reduced rolling resistance year-round.
The range marks the first use of ENLITEN in a Bridgestone truck tyre, which is a combination of cutting-edge technologies providing maximum safety, outstanding tyre performance, improved sustainability characteristics and reduced ownership costs, while making tyres both EV- and future-ready.
The Bridgestone Mobility Solutions stand will be completed by the Bandag Hotread range of retreaded tyres, which offer even more savings for commercial fleets.
Under the new ‘Bandag Hotread’ name, Bridgestone said its retread solutions are now amongst the most advanced in the UK, featuring 17 new products which are now being manufactured from its Bourne-based Bulldog plant.
Bandag Retreads extend the wear life and performance of premium tyres, which the manufacturer said delivers near-new tyre performance while lowering the total tyre cost per kilometre for fleet owners and managers.
