Bullwell Trailer Solutions has launched a nationwide recruitment drive for HGV engineers due to rising demand for its mobile services from hauliers.
The Lichfield-based mobile trailer repair and maintenance specialist is looking to recruit 25 mobile HGV engineers in the Midlands, London, Glasgow, Bristol, Basingstoke and the north of England.
Bullwell - part of the Ryder group of companies - is also planning to take on more trainees later this year.
Since the start of 2015, the company has increased its workforce by 20 percent.
It now has 60 engineers located across the UK and maintains more than 5,000 trailers.
As a result of the increase in staff, Bullwell has invested £50,000 in its offices at Lichfield and spent £750,000 on improving and updating its fleet of 60 vans.
The range of services offered by the firm includes pay-as-you-go and contract repair and maintenance as well as complete take-over of existing workshop facilities and staff.
Gary Bulley (pictured), MD at Bullwell Trailer Solutions said: “More fleet operators are now seeing the benefits of mobile solutions, from the financial advantages to greener credentials.
“As such, demand for our services continues to grow and we are now on the hunt for more talented engineers to join our growing team.
“Thanks to its location at the hub of the UK’s transport system, Lichfield has been a great base for us to grow our business over the past decade and our recent investment into our headquarters reinforces our commitment to the location.”
