South-east tipper operator Bushcade Haulage, has taken delivery of a pair of new Scania eight wheelers fitted with Charlton bodies.
Based at Brentwood, the tippers will operate throughout Essex, Hertfordshire and east London, and have been fitted with reversing cameras, beacons and health and all the required safety signage and markings for both on- and off-road work.
Despite their heavy duty underfloor tipping gear, automatic tailgates, tool boxes and sideguards, the Charlton Scanias are still capable of carrying a 19,500kg payload.
Bushcade MD Stephen Marta explained: "Thompsons Group products really are first class. We’ve used a variety of them over the years, including the double - skinned Loadmaster for really heavy work, the curved floor Multimaster and now the Charlton SuperLite.
"Each has performed exceptionally well in its role, with next to no maintenance or downtime. Today though, this latest body from Charlton has evolved into the most versatile and productive design ever in terms of fitting in with the overall requirements of our business. Mounted on a Scania chassis, it’s the best tipper we’ve yet devised."
